Dragon is fond of sweet things. One fine morning, he sets out to look for his breakfast when he discovers the Fruitland, a country inhabited by animal farmers. The hungry dragon devours the cultivated fruits. Soon the animals discover that their harvest has been eaten by the dragon who hastens to repair the damage and invites his new friends to discover his secret.

Under the direction of the performer, the children are invited to participate during the performance.

An amusing tale where children discover fruits while learning up about the importance of respecting nature and each other.

The dragon who loves fruits is a story inspired by the animal mimicry of Kathakali, a form of dance-theatre from India.

Since the creation of the show in 1985, The dragon who loves fruits has delighted children in schools and kindergardens in Montreal and throughout the province, in Ontario and New-Brunswich. A tale that inspires children to bite into an apple.

"I was enthused by the quality of your show. The script was adequately supported by the variety of methods used such as mime, music and speech."

Johanne Prud'homme, City of Montreal Library

"A very beautiful story. A good interpretation as well. A good way to bring the concept of fruits and vegetables to children and to win over their attention."

Lucie Millette, École St-André-Apôtre, Montreal
